Most training gives you information. We help you use it. Families rarely arrive with one neat problem — sleep, feeding, development, parental wellbeing, family dynamics, culture, confidence and professional boundaries often overlap.
That is why Babyem training is built differently. We do not want practitioners to leave with scripts they can only use in ideal situations. We want them to leave with the understanding, judgement and confidence to support real families safely and professionally.

Our training is designed around the situations practitioners actually face with families, not idealised scenarios or simple step-by-step scripts. You learn how to think, adapt and respond when the answer is not obvious.

Babyem was founded by Emma Dewey after years of working across international development, children's services and professional training. Again and again, she saw the same problem: practitioners cared deeply and trained hard, but still felt underprepared for the complexity of real family work.
Babyem was built to change that. Every programme is designed to help practitioners move beyond course completion into confident, ethical and practical support for families.
